Thanks a bunch to the person or company who bought this print from my Fotolia.com site! As any photographer knows, creative ideas can “pop” into your head (no pun intended) at any time. So one day while I was doing some “measuring”, this crazy idea came to me and the title was a natural fit. This is the first time I have sold this photo, although it does get a lot of hits for some reason! Ha
I love these old town square clocks! I was in Pilot Point, Texas on Monday when I took this photo. As I worked on this photograph tonight trying to find the perfect feeling it deserved, I realized what time the clock said. I had no idea when I took the photo, and actually didn’t even notice until I was almost done with post-production that the clock read 11:02 a.m. What hit me about that time is that was also the time that Margaret, my mother-in-law, passed away just over two weeks ago. Very strange it would be the same time. Maybe just a coincidence, but sometimes these kinds of things really make you ponder in life.
I am very pleased to announce I have sold my first copy of Critical Thinking from Fine Art America! I have always thought this to be an entertaining piece of work that I thought of one day well…probably when I was faced with a similar situation. Funny how creative ideas can come to you when you least expect it! Anyway, thanks so much to the person who made the purchase! It always makes my day!
